Summer Music Camp Details / July 7-11

Summer Music Camp is an exciting week of musical adventures! Campers will experience HEROIC fun during our “Superheroes in Training” explorations as they make new friends, gain new musical skills, and have a BLAST!

Drop Off

Morning check in starts at 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel. Camp Opening Rally starts at 9:00 a.m. Parents sign campers in by team color. View team color list here.

Pick Up

Afternoon pick up starts at 3:00. Parents who arrive early will be asked to wait until camp activities end at 3:00. Afternoon pick up closes at 3:15.

During morning drop off, parents will take a picture of the camper’s nametag. When you return in the afternoon for pick up, you will show the picture of the nametag to our camp staff. If someone different will be picking up in the afternoon, please be sure to share the nametag picture with them .

A-L Last Names / Chapel
M-Z Last Names/ Social Hall

Parents can meet on Chapel Patio and camp staff will direct them to the specific dismissal locations.

What to Bring

Campers should bring a lunch and refillable water bottle. Please LABEL these items with CAMPER NAME. Morning snacks and all other camp supplies will be provided, so campers do not need a backpack with any additional items.

Camp Instruments

For students who selected to borrow an instrument on the registration form, instruments will be provided for all camp activities. If you are planning to bring your own instrument, please LABEL it with your FIRST AND LAST NAME. You will check in your instrument at the registration table on Monday morning. We will plan on you leaving your instrument on campus during the week of camp so that it will be readily available when needed for camp activities.

Snack Schedule

Each day at camp, campers will have a morning snack provided for them. Daily snack schedule is listed below.

Camper Check Outs

If for some reason a camper needs to leave camp before our 3:00 afternoon camp dismissal time, the camper will need to check out by following this Camper Check Out Process:

1. During Morning Drop Off, the parent needs to complete a “Camper Check Out” form. (These forms are available at each morning sign in table.)

2. On the “Camper Check Out” form, parents will list the time that the camper will be checking out. Due to afternoon traffic on campus, no check-outs can be made after 2:15 pm.

3. At the requested time, parents should come to the Chapel for check out (same location as morning drop off).

4. Our camp staff will meet parents in the Chapel with the camper who is checking out so that the parent can sign out.

When you arrive to check out your child, please do not walk around campus looking for your child. Our top priority is keeping each of our campers safely accounted for. With this in mind, our camp policy does not provide the opportunity for parents to visit individual camp rotations to check out campers. Our camp leadership team has been asked to follow the above Check Out Policy so that we can be sure all campers signed out through the proper procedure as they safely connect with parents when they leave each day.

If you arrive in the Chapel for check out and our camp staff is not in the Chapel, please follow the directions posted on the Chapel door or proceed to the Dawson Welcome Desk, which is located in the hallway directly in front of the Chapel.
